Seeing in a shape of an object more ways to use it than originally intended.
This wood abstract sculpture is built from 4 cabinet legs that are grouped together. And in this way arises a new meaning for the 4 cabinet legs:  not lifting a cabinet but a pair of eyes looking into the world.

Apart from creating a new form and expression, the gold leaf on the inside of the holes adds the dimension of the reflection of light. This enhances the illusion that there are "eyes  looking”.
