Description
3 Decorative wooden boxes
The painting of these 3 decorative boxes is inspired by the strange combination of a painting and a children's book. On the one hand, the mysterious and lovely water surface of Monet's paintings of water lilies. These paintings make me want to see what goes on under this surface of the water. What grows and moves. This, combined with the beautiful children's book "The most beautiful fish of the sea" by Marcus Pfister, on the other hand, formed the total picture for the inside and outside of this tower of 3 Blue Lagoon boxes. (Which again was the title of a 1980 feature film).
These 3 separately standing boxes each have their own part of a pattern on the outside and inside. As a result, they form a whole. Both on top of each other and next to each other. Both open and closed.
